2. Application

These terms apply to orders placed through the JustTheCardGuy Shopify store. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that the information supplied is complete and accurate and that the customer is legally able to enter into the purchase.

3. Products and descriptions

We aim to describe and display products accurately. Colours and details may appear slightly different because of screen settings, photography, paper texture and normal production variation.

The main product characteristics, format, inside option, quantity and included items are stated on the relevant product page. Customers should review the selected options before ordering.

4. Prices and payment

The price shown during checkout is the price payable for the selected products, excluding any clearly stated shipping charges and possible customs or import charges.

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payment is processed through Shopify and the selected payment provider.

Obvious pricing, technical or typographical errors may be corrected. If such an error affects an order, we will contact the customer and offer the choice of confirming the corrected order or receiving a refund.

5. Formation of the agreement

An order is submitted when the customer completes checkout and confirms the payment obligation. An automatic order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order.

We may cancel and refund an order where fulfilment is impossible, payment is not authorised, fraud is reasonably suspected or the order violates applicable law or platform rules.

6. Processing and delivery

Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days and sent by untracked standard letter mail unless another method is offered and selected.

Delivery times are estimates and are described in the Shipping & Delivery policy. Customers must provide a complete and correct delivery address.

Risk relating to delivery passes in accordance with applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these terms removes rights relating to non-delivery or incorrect delivery.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

Eligible consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase. The procedure, time limits, return costs, refund conditions and model withdrawal form are described in the Returns & Refunds policy.

Where the legal exception applies, products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised can be excluded from the right of withdrawal.

8. Changes and cancellations

Contact us immediately if you wish to change or cancel an order. Changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed after production begins or dispatch takes place.

Any statutory withdrawal or consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Damaged, defective or incorrect products

Products must conform to the agreement and applicable consumer law. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact info@justthecardguy.com promptly with the order number and evidence where reasonably possible.

A suitable remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable law, which may include replacement, price reduction or refund.

10. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the designs, illustrations, written content, branding, product photographs and website content are owned by or licensed to JustTheCardGuy Creative.

Purchasing a physical card does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, resell copies, distribute digital files or use the design commercially.

11. Acceptable use of the website

The website must not be used to:

• commit fraud or unlawful acts;

• interfere with security or operation;

• upload malicious code;

• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;

• scrape or reproduce content on a substantial scale without permission.

12. Liability

JustTheCardGuy Creative is responsible where required by mandatory law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was formed, or for delays caused solely by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited, including mandatory consumer rights.

13. Events outside reasonable control

Performance can be delayed by events outside reasonable control, such as postal disruption, customs delays, extreme weather, network failures or government measures. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and communicate material delays where possible.

14. Complaints

Complaints can be sent to info@justthecardguy.com. Include the order number and a clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond within a reasonable period and seek a practical solution. Telephone contact is available Monday–Friday, 18:00–20:00 CET, although email is preferred.

15. Governing law

These terms and agreements with JustTheCardGuy Creative are governed by Dutch law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection granted by the law of their country of residence where applicable.

Disputes may be submitted to a competent court as determined by mandatory law.

16. Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The invalid provision will be replaced or interpreted as closely as legally possible to its intended purpose.

17. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the store, products, services or law change. The version published when an order is placed applies to that order, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
