Bard birthday card with a story inside: a medieval minstrel birthday card who wrote the Ballad of You.
This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of a wandering bard — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.
On the front: “Happy Birthday — The best tales begin with good company. You’re in all my favourites.”
Signed inside: “Light feet. Loud lute. Tells your story with pride.”
