Ringmaster birthday card with a story inside: a vintage circus birthday card that introduces the star of the show: you.
This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of the ringmaster — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.
On the front: “Happy Birthday — Step right up. Someone rather extraordinary deserves a fuss today.”
Signed inside: “Tall hat. Loud voice. Has never seen an act quite like you.”
