Gold Prospector birthday card with a story inside: a western birthday card from an old prospector who knows real gold when he sees it.
This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of an old gold prospector — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.
On the front: “Happy Birthday — I’ve struck gold before. But having you around feels even better.”
Signed inside: “Muddy knees. Sharp eyes. Knows real gold when he sees it.”
