Stage Magician birthday card with a story inside: a vintage magic-show birthday card about the only real magic trick there is.
This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of the Great Marvello, a stage magician — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.
On the front: “Happy Birthday — I know a few good tricks. Making people feel special is yours.”
Signed inside: “Silk hat. Quick hands. Has no idea how you do it.”
A perfect gift for
- Lovers of unusual, illustrated birthday cards
- Magic and illusion fans
- Friends who make people feel special
