Outlaw birthday card with a story inside: a funny western birthday card for the rascal with a heart of gold.

This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of the outlaw — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.

On the front: “Happy Birthday — A heart of gold and a talent for trouble. Never change.”

Signed inside: “Fast draw. Faster grin. Wanted in seven states (for parties).”

A perfect gift for

  • Lovers of unusual, illustrated birthday cards
  • Lovable troublemakers
  • Western fans
  • Friends with a heart of gold
