Ebenezer Scrooge birthday card with a story inside: a funny birthday card from a reformed old grump with a soft spot.
This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of Ebenezer Scrooge — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.
On the front: “Happy Birthday — Even an old grump like me has a soft spot for you. Quite a large one, actually.”
Signed inside: “Reformed miser. Recovering grump. Finally knows what’s worth keeping.”
A perfect gift for
- Lovers of unusual, illustrated birthday cards
- Grumpy dads and grandads
- Dickens fans
- Lovable grumps
