Golem birthday card with a story inside: a gentle-giant birthday card from a golem who gives the biggest hugs.

This hand-illustrated birthday card is part of my old-school character collection. Inside is a fully printed birthday letter written in the voice of the golem — funny, warm and surprisingly moving: the kind of card people keep.

On the front: “Happy Birthday — A very big hug from someone who’s a little clumsy with the small ones.”

Signed inside: “Very big. Very strong. Very gentle with you.”

A perfect gift for

  • Lovers of unusual, illustrated birthday cards
  • Gentle giants
  • Folklore and fantasy fans
