Mothman Sympathy Card

Mothman sympathy card with a story inside: a gentle gothic cryptid letter of comfort for someone walking through loss.

Through the quiet hours, you are not alone. This handmade Mothman sympathy greeting card is a gentle cryptid grief card created for someone walking through loss, remembrance, and the difficult silence that often follows.

On the front, a soft, slightly melancholy Mothman sits quietly beside a glowing window, red eyes watching through the evening while its folded wings rest at its side. Beneath the illustration are the words:

“Through the quiet hours, you are not alone.” Open the card and Mothman stays a little longer.

Inside is a complete story written as a letter from the creature itself — not as an omen this time, but as quiet company. It speaks about the strange stillness of grief, memories that remain after goodbye, sleepless nights, and the comfort of simply knowing someone is willing to sit nearby when words are too difficult.

The story does not try to make loss smaller. Instead, Mothman folds its wings beside the window and keeps watch until morning.

A sympathy card for someone who finds more comfort in strange creatures, folklore, dark forests and quiet companionship than in traditional floral condolences. Gentle, unusual and just mythical enough to feel like something worth keeping.
